This Privacy Policy explains how Cerberus, a website security service and a product of CTF Designs, collects, uses, and protects information when you use cerberusscan.com, cerberusscan.app, or the Cerberus Site Check WordPress plugin (the "Service").
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, scan results, or any mobile/contact data to third parties. Your scan data is used only to serve you.
We share information only as needed with service providers that operate the Service. These currently include Supabase for service records, Resend for plugin email alerts, WordPress.org for current-version checks, WPVulnerability for public vulnerability advisories, and our hosting and analytics providers. WPVulnerability receives component identifiers and versions through Cerberus server requests; it does not receive your posts, users, passwords, or file contents from the plugin. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not otherwise share your data.
Full WordPress plugin scan results remain on your site unless you delete them or uninstall the plugin. We keep notification-delivery records only as long as reasonably necessary for support, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Vulnerability inventory submitted for matching is processed to return results and is not added to a marketing profile or sold. You can ask us to delete eligible data at any time (see Contact).
The Service uses cookies and analytics to understand usage and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. California residents have these rights under the CCPA. To exercise them, contact us below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
The Service is intended for businesses and website owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
